After raising $12 million on Indigogo – a record in the brand’s history – Bluetti is finally launching the AC500 Portable Power Generator in its official shop. Sharing many parallels with Bluetti’s first modular model, the AC300, the new and improved AC500 goes far beyond the predecessor's capabilities with improvements that set the new station at the forefront of the solar generator market.

Thanks to the modular approach of the Bluetti systems, the new AC500 is compatible and can welcome up to six B300S battery packs that increase the power capacity to an incredible 18,432Wh. Upgrading your setup to a solar system with compatible solar panels gives you enough capacity to power your appliances and go entirely off-grid or enjoy what feels like unlimited power when hiking, camping or living your best digital nomad life.

Bluetti is dedicated to building a future with renewable energy and providing a budget-saving solution to go solar. Built with a matchless MPPT solar inverter, the AC500 Portable Power Generator allows a 3,000W maximum solar input. And unlike the sluggish re-charging performance of its competitors, charging the AC500 plus B300S combo’s total 3,072Wh capacity from 0 to 80% SOC by sunshine only takes about one and a half hours. This is what energy independence feels like!

Solar is only one of the nine ways you can charge the Bluetti AC500 Portable Power Station. Better still, dual charging is also supported with a maximum input rate of 6000W. No need to worry about durability, either, as the LiFePO4 battery of the Bluetti AC500 can produce up to 80% of its original capacity even after over 3,500 charging cycles. Compared to the lithium-ion battery that most power stations and power banks use nowadays, the LiFePO4 battery type offers optimal performance, expected to last for over 10 years.

If there is one thing batteries, especially solar generators, struggle to cope with, it’s the winter cold, which is unfortunate as that also happens to be when you need the most power for heating and lighting. Luckily, the B300S expansion battery has an intelligent self-healing capability that heats up immediately and actively even when the ambient temperature is as low as -20℃. And while power cuts are rare in the UK, having the Bluetti AC500 Portable Power Station charged and ready to go can give you peace of mind that neither you nor your loved ones need to face the cold and elements should the power go out, even temporarily.

Whether out and about or at home, you can harness the full power of the AC500 Portable Power Station with the user-friendly Bluetti app. It lets you control and monitor the power consumption, check the operation status, and receive over-the-air firmware updates anytime from anywhere, as long as your smartphone is connected to the internet.

Considering the benefits and the power of Bluetti’s new power system, you might think it costs the earth to buy. Thankfully, this couldn’t be further from the truth. The recommended retail price for the AC500 Station is £2,599 and £2,299 for the B300S battery, while the Bluetti AC500 and B300S combo only cost £4,499. The Bluetti AC500 Portable Power Station and B300S battery is available to buy now at Bluetti.
