Of all the swanky gadgets I have at home, one that's almost always in use is my trusty DJI Power 1000 Mini. In fact, it's currently powering my fan (a whopping 6W output) and charging my laptop without making even the faintest of sounds, despite the heat.

The Power 1000 Mini is pretty affordable at full price, but it just became even more affordable thanks to DJI's Store Day sale, which knocked the price down to £379 – a £70 saving over RRP. Better still, it's the cheapest the dinky power station has ever been, as far as I can tell!

DEAL – Don't let the compact size fool you! The DJI Power 1000 Mini packs a 1,008Wh LFP battery, 1,000W output, ultra-fast charging and enough ports to keep everything from laptops to drones topped up. Quiet, portable and surprisingly capable, it's the ideal power station for camping, road trips and home backup.

Of course, the Power 1000 Mini can be used for a lot more than just powering a fan on a hot day. Designed for campers, content creators, vanlifers and anyone needing reliable off-grid power, it combines a 1,008Wh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with a portable design that weighs just 11.5kg.

Despite being almost half the size of many 1kWh power stations (including DJI's very own Power 1000 V2), it still delivers enough energy to keep cameras, drones, laptops, phones and portable fridges running for extended periods.

Alongside the retractable 100W USB-C cable, you'll find USB-A ports, an additional USB-C port, AC outlets and DJI's proprietary SDC connection for fast charging compatible drone batteries and accessories.

The power station supports up to 1,000W output (800W continuous), making it ideal for most consumer electronics and outdoor gear.

The Power 1000 Mini can reach 80% capacity in around 58 minutes and a full charge in approximately 75 minutes from mains power. It also features integrated 400W solar charging and a built-in 400W car charging system, offering flexible recharging options wherever you are.

The LFP battery is rated to retain over 80% of its capacity after 4,000 charge cycles, providing years of dependable use. DJI also includes UPS functionality with a 0.01-second switchover time, app connectivity, a built-in light and operation at altitudes up to 5,000 metres.
