Samsung wants to hit the magic number of 1 million for the Galaxy Tabs
The Samsung Galaxy Tab may have recently launched but the company claims that there is a very stong demand for their tablet and they aim to hit more than one million sales of the device by the end of this year.
Samsung's mobile division chief JK Shin said there was a lot of interested in Europe and Asia for the Galaxy tab.
He said, "Although the launching of Galaxy Tab has been delayed a little bit (in Korea), consumer responses in Europe and Asia have been quite good and we are confident of meeting one million sales mark this year."
The Samsung Galaxy Tab runs on the latest Android system - Android 2.2 "Froyo" - with the 7-inch tablet weighing 380g. The screen is at a resolution of 1024 by 600 pixels, with Wi-fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and has two cameras with an LED flash.
