Newly leaked spy shots show Apple iPod Nano prototype with inbuilt camera

Taking a step backwards whilst retaining its latest design new leaked images have suggested the Apple iPod Nano is to add an inbuilt camera

Newly leaked images have revealed that Apple is to revert to past designs and bring an inbuilt camera back to its next-generation Apple iPod Nano device.

With leaked images of prototype components hitting the web speculation is rife about the potential upcoming introduction of a camera touting iPod Nano, a feature that was at one point rumoured to land on last year's update of the PMP range.

Bringing to life a leaked Apple patent filling that was released last year the new spy shots show an iPod Nano case with a hole for the inclusion of a 1.3-megapixel camera hewn from the shell and accompanying metal clip.

Apple iPod Nano Features

Although little else is known around the features of the camera touting Apple iPod Nano design, the device, which looks set to retain much the same form factor for a third consecutive year is likely to be filled with the now standard 8GB or 16GB storage options, multitouch touchscreen display, collection of accompanying watch faces and the newly introduced Nike+ styled motion tracker.
