Move vs Kinect: Sony launches YayButtons.com website

Sony's new button-loving site targets Microsoft Kinect

Let battle commence...

The battle between Sony and Microsoft over their respective motion-control gaming peripherals has been hot since day one. Things have just worsened, though, with Sony launching tongue-in-cheek website YayButtons.com, which sings the praises of actual physical inputs.

The website features a giant Playstation Move controller with interactive buttons that produce ‘quotes’ on clicking from Sony’s fictitious exec Kevin Butler. These button-happy quotes range from ‘Cuz they help you… control stuff’ to ‘Can you imagine gaming without buttons? Where would the control come from?’

It’s not the first time Sony has poked fun at Kinect, and we doubt it’ll be the last, but it’ll be interesting to see Microsoft’s retort so close to both devices’ launch.
