Motorola Razr goes on sale in UK

1.2GHz processor and just 7.1mm thin

Motorola's super-thin Razr has finally landed, giving us the option of a KEVLAR protected 7.1mm smartphone with Android Gingerbread

The Motorola Razr is now out in the UK with customers able to get their hands on the super-thin smartphone from Carphone Warehouse, Phones4u and from Amazon direct if you prefer your phones SIM-free.

With both the Carphone Warehouse and Phones4u offering the phone on contract at around £31 the Razr is definitely one of the higher end smartphones available at the moment. However if you'd rather you had the choice of any network Amazon now have the Motorola Razr in stock selling it at £448.99 putting it price-wise alongside the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the upcoming Galaxy Nexus.

Offering up a 7.1mm thin body the alluminium-clad Razr also gives you Android Gingerbread inside while the 1.2GHz processor makes sure that everything then runs smoothly. Motorola has also placed actual KEVLAR on the back so should you be around any shootouts feat not, the Razr will probably survive. In case that's just not sturdy enough it also has Corning Gorilla Glass on the screen as well, how's that for 'life-proof'.
