Microsoft readies Kinect beta

Invites sent out via Microsoft Connect show plans are afoot

Trial run for Kinect in the offing is Big M plans for November launch.

Microsoft has started inviting gamers to its Kinect beta programme, as it looks to iron out any kinks in the motion control system ahead of its release later this year.

In an email sent via the Microsoft Connect service, the Big M says, “As a former active member of our Xbox LIVE preview programs, we’re pleased to present you with the opportunity to participate in the Xbox LIVE and Kinect Beta Program.”

The invite also says space is limited, so if you’ve got one of these emails kicking around, we suggest you reply sharpish saying you want to get involved. Word is that you’ll get to see some games that haven’t yet been trailed too.

Punters are also likely to get a go on the new Kinect dashboard too, first spied back at E3 in June. For more Kinect news, stay tuned to our Facebook and Twitter pages.
