If you’ve spent any time doom-scrolling TikTok, YouTube or Reels lately, you might have seen these little black squares clipped to T-shirts everywhere.

More often than not, that'll be DJI’s dinky Mic Mini, which has quietly become the default mic for creators who don’t want to faff around with wires.

Well now, it’s cheaper than ever. At the time of writing, the DJI Mic Mini (that includes two transmitters, one receiver and the charging case) is down from its $169 RRP to an amazing $109 at Amazon. That’s over a third off and the lowest price I’ve ever seen for this bundle.

So, if you’ve been making do with your phone’s mic, this is a huge upgrade for not much money.

The DJI Mic Mini is a compact, budget-friendly wireless microphone system that delivers excellent sound quality and robust features for its size. With impressive battery life, versatile compatibility, and user-friendly design, it’s a superb choice for beginner to intermediate creators, despite missing some pro-level features. A great addition to DJI’s growing content-creation ecosystem and a great deal with overa third off!

Why the mini mic is a big deal, literally

In T3's review of the Mic Mini, we rated it for its clean, punchy audio, high-end finish and creator-friendly features. While it's tiny - the transmitters are only about 10g each - you still get proper features like two-level noise-cancelling, Safety Track (a quieter backup recording to save blown takes) and low-cut filtering for rumble. Range is up to 400 m, so you can step back and still sound clear.

Battery is the main headline here, though, with runtimes up to 48 hours total using the charging case, and a five-minute top-up gives you about an hour of juice, which is ideal when you’re short on time.

What you get for $109

There are different bundle variations available with this mic, and this deal is the good one - you get two transmitters, one receiver, the charging case, and four windscreens, magnetic clips, and the usual cables/adapters. For interviews, vlogs, weddings, or just making your reels sound more professional, it’s a complete grab-and-go kit. Pop the TX on a collar (or just hand-hold it like a tiny reporter mic), slot the RX into your phone or camera, and you’re good to go.

At this price, it’s a no-brainer for anyone levelling up audio without jumping to the pricier Mic 2 or Rode/Deity setups. It’s also a smart spare if you already own a higher-end rig and want something lighter for travel.

While we’re talking DJI…

There’s more bubbling away in DJI-land. The company appears to have accidentally leaked the upcoming Osmo Nano action cam via a social post and an early YouTube Short, with images hinting at a tiny modular design (think camera pod plus screen/battery module) and Insta360 Go 3S vibes.

Pricing and specs aren’t official yet, but if the leaks are to be believed, it could be the perfect pocket cam to pair with that new, bargain mic.
