Tosh's USB mobile is go

All new G450 doubles up as storage stick and a rather slick web dongle to boot.

Tosh has dangled a rather fetching slice of mobile goodness in front of our gadget-loving eyes this morning, debuting a phone that'll double as a USB stick and web dongle.

The G450 is being touted as a four-in-one device, acting as a blower, storage hub, net maven and MP3 player. Okay, most phones have got two of those covered, but the web stuff has really caught our eye.

Slap it into your lappie and you'll be able to hop online using the speedy HSDPA, or drop back onto snail-paced GPRS or EDGE when the elixir of 3G is taken away.

You can use it as a phone even when it's plugged in, meaning no faffing about and whipping it out when a call comes in.

Storage-wise, you'll find 160MB for stashing word files and the like, while you can slap on tunes in MP3 and AAC for your aural pleasure.

Size and looks wise, we're not talking conventional, with a double keypad, OLED display and a 16mm wide bod'. It weighs in at a paltry 57g, so carting it around is no bother either.

You can grab it now in red, white or black. Certainly makes a difference to the crappy old candybar you've got hidden away in your pocket.

You know what... It may be a piece of shit, but I really like the way this thing looks. It's about time we got some simplicity back in the world of mobiles!
