LG LD920/LD360 3D TV axed from consumer line-up
LG's LD360 won't be bringing 3D to your front room
LG's flagship LD920 (formerly LD360) 3D LED TV will only be available for commercial use when it launches in April this year, meaning you won't be seeing it on any shop shelves . Only launched at CES in January, the TV set, renamed twice, has suddenly been pulled from the company's consumer line-up.
Tipped as one of the LG's big releases at this year's Vegas tech bonanza, it was not only due to be their first 3D TV to launch in the UK, but also one of the first 3D TVs available, along with the Samsung's 9000 Series.
The 47-inch beast incorporates “passive 3D technology” and was billed to be a cheaper option for Joe public.
