HTC has released the first promotional video for its recently announced and yet undated Android powered tablet, the HTC Flyer.
Officially unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2011 last week, HTC’s first foray into the tablet market surprised many with its lack of Android 3.0, Honeycomb, no dual-core processor and the inclusion of a touch-sensitive stylus.
Crafted from a single piece of aluminum with white accents, the Flyer is a good looking device with the user experience enhanced via the inclusion of HTC’s trademark Sense UI. Taking on a 7-inch form factor the Flyer touts a 1024 x 600p display, a 1.5GHz processor and will launch featuring front and rear mounted cameras. UK launch dates and pricing have yet to be announced.
Offering a peak at the Flyer in action, HTC’s brief promo video (below) proclaims the Android 2.4, Gingerbread, device as: “A tablet for the whole family,” further adding: “Everyone can make it their own.”
