Lorex's video doorbell is also subscription-free, something that a lot of consumers appreciate since Ring and Arlo recently increased their monthly subscription payments. Lorex has decided to include a pre-installed 64GB MicroSD, providing up to six months of storage for video recordings and motion notifications.

Not only does the video doorbell introduce a high-quality viewing experience with its 4K resolution, but it also features a vertically rotated wide-angle lens that provides a full head-to-toe view. This allows users to monitor everything, ranging from package deliveries to unexpected visitors.
As mentioned, users have the choice between a battery installation for a seamless wire-free connection, or a wired connection for 24/7 charging. If the battery design is preferred, users can enjoy up to four months of battery life on a single charge.
There's also an added layer of deterrence with its LED Call Button, giving users the ability to make it glow in a choice of colors to suit personal preference. Users can also benefit from a Nightlight feature which illuminates the front door area when motion is detected.
