With a raised design, a soft textured rubber grip and a curved thumb rest, the Logitech Lift Vertical Ergonomic Mouse is all about comfort. Measuring 71 x 70 x 108mm and weighing 125g, it was built for small to medium-sized hands so will be a good size and shape for women in particular, but it’s likely to feel comfortable for anyone who suffers from wrist discomfort at the end of a long day.
For those with large hands, the Logitech MX Vertical will be the better choice, it’s basically a bigger version of this.
Sitting between your thumb and finger, the mouse encourages you to grip it in a relaxed handshake position. When you use it, your hand is upright as opposed to facing down towards your desk, the edge of your thumb is lifted slightly off the table taking the pressure off your wrist and the smooth curves do a great job of letting your hand sit completely naturally.
My index and middle fingers grip the mouse on its side directly over the left and right clicks with the scroll wheel between them positioned perfectly parallel to where the tip of my fingers start. Below it, there’s the middle button, and just above my thumb lay the chunkier forward and backwards buttons.

My only issues with the design were that while Logitech has clearly put a lot of effort into making this look as good as possible, with the option to buy it in Graphite, Off-White and Rose, it was still was a bit of an eye sore on my desk at home. I’d much prefer to use this when I am in the office. The other issue I found was that when I went to use the forward button I often accidentally clicked the left mouse button at the same time because of how the grip works.

Setting up the Logitech Lift Vertical Ergonomic Mouse couldn’t be easier. When you turn it on, as long as Bluetooth is switched on, your computer should automatically detect it and prompt you to connect. Or, if you’d rather the mouse comes with a secure Logi Bolt USB Receiver as well.
With a 10m wireless range you’ll be able to use this in all sorts of ways and rooms, and you can hook it up to three different devices at once switching between them using the little button on the underside of the mouse. You can see which device you’re connected to using the three tiny LEDs placed above the button.
Featuring a completely silent magnetic SmartWheel and very soft quiet clicks, this isn’t a mouse that will be distracting to other people around you.
I found the scroll wheel to be very precise, allow you to navigate down a page in small increments if you need to, or it can skip through pages very quickly when you’re in more of a hurry.
Another reason I enjoyed using this mouse is because of smoothly it glides across my desk, and I didn’t even need a mousemat to make it feel comfortable.
Logi Options+ is the adjoining computer software for the Logitech Lift Vertical Ergonomic Mouse, it’s available for macOS 10.15 or later and Windows 10 or later. You can use it to assign new controls the buttons, and even to make the settings program-specific like if you wanted to use the middle button as to mute your microphone on Skype and then to skip backwards through pages on the web. Through the app, you can also customise the DPI and see the battery percentage.

As you might have guessed, I was very impressed with the Logitech Lift Vertical Ergonomic Mouse and completely understand the need for it now, even though I didn’t before I started using it.
I might not be so keen on how it looks but I can see that Logitech has tried hard to make it look as nice as possible while maintaining the sensible ergonomic design.
Unlike a lot of conventional computer mice, my hand sat comfortably on the Logitech Lift Vertical Ergonomic Mouse all day every day without causing me any discomfort in my wrists at all. I also liked that it’s completely silent to use and that you can hook it up to three devices at once.
