The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ release date is edging closer and closer (25 February), but it's going to take a lot to surprise us if the current rate of leaks continues. Now another image of the Galaxy S9 has leaked, showing the headphone port very much in tact.

The inclusion of a headphone port is sure to come as a pleasant surprise to some users who still have a treasured pair of wired can, with Google, HTC, and most notably Apple, all ditching the legacy port.

Of course, you could switch to a pair of Bluetooth headphones, but some people still prefer the audio quality, price, and most importantly, battery life of wired headphones.

The most recent leak comes from trusted source Evan Blass, who took to Twitter to share images of the new Samsung DeX, the brand's portable docking station which turns your Galaxy smartphone into a PC-type device.

You can see the images here:

If the images are genuine (they certainly look it), the DeX has received a big redesign, moving away from the circular docking station form factor, to a flatter, more portable one.

This suggest the S9's screen with double as a trackpad when in use, getting rid of the need for a Bluetooth mouse.

In terms of connectivity, the leaked images show a HDMI-out port (for outputting to a nearby monitor), two USB Type A ports, and a USB Type C port (presumably for power).

These leaks join the other news that Samsung S9 is expected to feature 1000fps slow motion video, as well it's capability fast wireless charging. It's shaping up to be a real winner.

We’ll have to wait until 25 February to find out for sure if these leaks a genuine  but until then check out everything we know about the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ here.
