HBADA E3 Pro Office Chair review: ergonomically supportive with a few strange adjustments
Wheely good comfort, support and movement – meet the HBADA E3 Pro

If you can stomach the expense, the HBADA E3 Pro could be the only office chair you’ll ever need. It has great ergonomic support, particularly around the lower back area, and is comfortable to sit in for hours at a time. There are some odd adjustments here and there, but the retractable footrest is a real win.

Why you can trust T3

Despite upgrading my WFH chair, I’ve been sitting in the same uncomfortable office chair for years. My mindset was ‘I’m only in the office two days a week, I can deal with a bad chair’ – how wrong I was. On the days I was in the office, I noticed that my back, neck and hips felt sore in my old chair, so I decided it was time for an upgrade.
The upgrade came in the form of the HBADA E3 Pro. Founded in 2008, HBADA manufactures ergonomic office and gaming chairs for both home and professional offices. One of the newest chairs in the line-up, the HBADA E3 Pro promises comfort, support and plenty of adjustments.
I sat in the HBADA E3 Pro for a few weeks, and this is how I got on.
HBADA E3 Pro review: price and availability
The HBADA E3 Pro office chair is priced at £709.99 / $709.99 and available to buy at HBADA and select retailers, like Amazon. It’s available in grey, black and pink colourways. As of writing, the HBADA E3 Pro is involved in the brand’s Back To School sale and has had a £200 / $200 price cut.
HBADA E3 Pro review: set-up
The HBADA E3 Pro arrived in a very large cardboard box, and came with the chair in pieces, screws, tools and easy-to-follow instructions. I’ll be honest – I’m not the best at DIY so I tasked T3’s Social Media Editor, Emily Pursel with the job of setting up the HBADA E3 Pro. As an enthusiastic fan of making office chairs, she whizzed through setting up the HBADA E3 Pro and found the assembly very easy.
The HBADA E3 Pro was heavy to put together in places – a large office chair is bound to be heavy at times – but everything clicked together and screwed in nicely without many problems. I noticed that the arms felt a little wobbly at times but overall, the set-up and construction of the HBADA E3 Pro was sturdy.
HBADA E3 Pro review: design and features
As an ergonomic office chair, the HBADA E3 Pro is packed full of supportive features to keep you as comfortable as possible while you work.

Starting at the top, the HBADA E3 Pro has a 4D bi-axial headrest bracket and cushion. It sits quite high but moves up and down, and rotates up to 70° to contour and support the neck, making a loud clicking noise as it does so.
Further down is the main part of the chair which has 6D adjustable armrests which move side to side and up and down, and a large seat cushion. The cushion sits – no pun intended – atop the main controls of the HBADA E3 Pro which can adjust the height, seat lift, recline, seat depth and backrest. A retractable footrest is also located under the seat.
Located at the bottom of the chair is a 3-zone elastic lumbar support system with smart ‘floating wings’. The lumbar support cradles the lower back and spreads out to stabilise the hips, and has 8-directional control that swivels to the left and right by 40° so you can move it around for better coverage.
The majority of the HBADA E3 Pro is made from breathable mesh, nylon and yarn, and it has metal at the base and skeleton of the chair. The base itself is five-pointed and has five low decibel wheels attached.
HBADA E3 Pro review: performance
My biggest concern with office chairs is how they fare with carpet. Most office chairs smoothly breeze their way over hardwood floors but are almost impossible to push over carpet, but that wasn’t the case with the HBADA E3 Pro. The wheels of the HBADA E3 Pro easily tackled carpeted flooring and was lightweight and simple to push and pull around, so it impressed me from the get-go.
I enjoyed the look and feel of the HBADA E3 Pro, and while there were a couple wobbles here and there around the armrests, the chair felt sturdy, springy and high quality. I mainly tested the HBADA E3 Pro during the UK’s 2025 heatwaves and found the mesh material to be a little uncomfortable when I was wearing skirts or dresses. It left a mark on my skin but overall, the material of the HBADA E3 Pro was very comfortable to sit on.
The armrests of the HBADA E3 Pro were comfortable to rest on, and had a good width to easily support small and big arms. It took a bit of force to move the armrests from side to side, and I found it quite odd that the armrests could be lifted vertically, but they still got the job done.

The main star of the show was the HBADA E3 Pro’s lumbar support. It perfectly cradled my lower back and hips, and was very comfortable to rest against. Compared to my old office chair, the HBADA E3 Pro kept my back happy, spine aligned and reduced any aches and pains, especially around my hips.
The footrest was a nice touch – I found myself unfurling it during my lunch breaks and found it so comfortable that I had to fold it away or I wasn’t going to get any work done! The only small improvement I would make to the HBADA E3 Pro was its headrest. It wasn’t the most comfortable to lean on and it made a lot of noise and jerked a bit when being moved into place.
HBADA E3 Pro review: verdict
The HBADA E3 Pro is one of the best ergonomic office chairs I’ve tried, and it massively improved my posture and comfort levels when at the office. Its lumbar support was a particularly standout and the footrest was fun to slide out and relax on.
In places, the HBADA E3 Pro felt a bit wobbly, and I felt the headrest could be better, but overall, the HBADA E3 Pro was supportive, comfortable and catered to a number of adjustments that I never would have thought of – vertically-risen armrests in particular. For almost £800, the HBADA E3 Pro is definitely a big expense, but it could be the only office chair you’ll ever need.
HBADA E3 Pro review: alternatives to consider
If you like the look of the HBADA E3 Pro but want something a little cheaper, the FlexiSpot C7 has a similar design and good ergonomic qualities. It has a similar lumbar support – although the HBADA E3 Pro is more advanced – and keeps your spine comfortably aligned and back nicely cradled.
The Boulies EP200 is another more affordable option that also boasts great ergonomics. It doesn’t look too different from the HBADA E3 Pro either but the Boulies EP200 doesn’t have as many adjustments if that’s what you’re looking for.
