Sony slips info online, then pulls pics hours later.
Sony S1 and S2 screens leaked
Sony has let slip screens of its forthcoming S1 and S2 tablets, replete with info about which version of Google Android the iPad challengers will be running. The images were loaded up to a Sony support forum and formed part of a since pulled troubleshooting document.
The images appear to show the S1 and S2 packing Android 3.2, although a separate snap has the device running Android 3.1. Either way, these are only iterative updates, so nothing to stop desperate Sony fans busting out their wallets.
Otherwise, the shots reveal information on the apps included on the devices, with Crash Bandicoot and Crackle making an appearance.
The S1 and S2 are expected to be released next month, with Sony hoping they can take up the mantle of iPad rivals-in-chief. Planning on snagging one? Tell us now over on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
