Samsung Galaxy Tab caught on video

iPad-rival spotted out and about in Australia

Forthcoming tablet looks primed and ready in new clip.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is edging ever closer to its official unveiling after being spotted out in the wild in Sydney. The iPad-botherer was being put through its paces by a tech worker who said it was “awesome”.

Beyond the 7-inch panel, the owner couldn’t deliver any more details, but Electronista, which snaffled the video, reckons the zippy UI means a 1GHz processor is kicking it inside.

The new tablet has been pictured and rumoured for weeks, and with gadget gathering IFA set for next week, it looks like we won’t have long to wait for the Galaxy Tab to get the nod from Sammy.
