Pink Samsung Galaxy S II released in the UK

Looking to appeal to all markets Samsung has given its flagship Android handset a makeover with a pink Samsung Galaxy S II now available in the UK

 

Having recently been released in Samsung’s native Korea a revised edition of the company’s flagship Android handset has hit British shores for the first time with the Pink Samsung Galaxy S II available now in the UK on a SIM-free basis.

Following on from the launch day standard black model and the white edition that followed soon after, Samsung has opened its market leading smartphone up to a wider audience and all manner of personal tastes with a newly hued pink model.

Made available for pre-order in the UK last week through a selection of retailers the fruity hued Samsung Galaxy S II is now available to buy with online smartphone seller Unlocked Mobiles promising next day delivery on the SIM-free device.

Whilst Phones 4U and Very.co.uk are both set to offer the device in the UK Unlocked Mobiles has kicked off proceedings with consumers looking to splash out on the device able to snap it up for £445.97.

A current leader on the Android scene the Samsung Galaxy S II is brimmed with high-powered, high-end goodness from its 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM to its 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera with 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities.

Packing a hugely impressive 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display the Galaxy S II packs premium innards into a minimalist form factor lining up at just 8.49mm thick with up to 32GB of internal storage and a second, 2-megapixel, camera on the device’s fore.
