Samsung is always innovating in the kitchen, but its Dual Cook Flex oven takes it to another level
If you've recently moved or are in the midst of a home renovation, now is a perfect time to think about how you want to cook in the future, and how you can squeeze the most out of your kitchen-time. The Dual Cook Flex from Samsung can split the oven in two so you can cook two meals at once, with different temperatures and settings.
The Dual Cook Flex is available now at John Lewis & Partners, Britain's ultimate shop for home improvers, movers and strivers. It's tailor-made for those who value quality cooking and need that extra flexibility to cook more at once.
John Lewis & Partners is the default choice for movers and renovators because of trust. Everyone knows it combines online convenience with the deep knowledge of the friendly staff in its stores.
Add the best customer care and after-sales support, and it's easy to see why Samsung is selling the Dual Cook Flex through JL&P. In recent years, John Lewis & Partners has also been synonymous with tech, adding innovation to its core value of reliability. Samsung's Dual Cook Flex fits right in with that, with a dual fan oven that uses a unique 'Flexible Door' so you can have two temperature zones in one oven, but which can also work like a traditional cooker.
Samsung Dual Cook Flex: how does it work?
It's best to see the Dual Cook Flex in action, which we did at the Taste of London culinary-fest, rustling up a raspberry soufflé with ease. Just saying.
The Flexible Door is hinged in the middle so that, with the press of a button, you can access just the top half, without interrupting what is cooking below – we don’t want any collapsing cakes or, in our case, soufflés.
With the two halves of the oven able to be separated with Samsung's divider shelf, you can cook two meals at once – even a previously impossible combination such as fish in one half and dessert in the other.
Saving money as well as time, 20% less energy* is used when you only employ the top section of the Dual Cook Flex. However, with the divider shelf removed, it has a huge, 75-litre capacity and still boasts an A+ energy rating.
Samsung Dual Cook Flex can work as two ovens… or one huge one
A built-in Cooking Guide pairs with Samsung's Smart Things app. This is available on Android and iOS devices (a Wi-Fi connection is required), and helps you discover new recipes and learn pro kitchen tips. You can then save these to your favourites to use again, whether it's a family favourite or an adventurous dish for when you're entertaining.
Samsung Dual Cook Flex also features catalytic liners so it's quick and easy to clean. If you love being in the kitchen and want to be able to do more when it comes to cooking, the Samsung Dual Cook Flex oven from John Lewis & Partners should be top of your shopping list.
