Shark FacialPro Glow review: incredible at-home skincare with professional results
Does this clever skincare gadget deliver? (Spoiler: yes)
The Shark FacialPro Glow is one of the rare at-home skincare devices that delivers quick, visible results. It’s thoughtfully designed, surprisingly easy to master, and features intuitive details like interchangeable tips and a long-lasting battery life. Sensitive skin types (myself included) might see a little redness at first, but sticking to a weekly routine keeps everything calm whilst still providing soft, smooth results. The formulas do add an ongoing cost, but compared to the price of a monthly HydraFacial, it’s still a bargain. With nothing else quite like it on the market, it’s a really impressive pick if you’re after pro-level skincare treatment from the comfort of your own home.

Why you can trust T3
Testing the industry’s beauty tech – whether it’s the best LED face masks or the best hair dryers – is probably one of my favourite parts of the job. However, it’s pretty rare that a device comes along that feels truly unique, which is exactly why the Shark FacialPro Glow has had me so excited.
Launched just a few months ago, this at-home skincare device is designed to clear impurities from your pores, support your skin barrier and reduce pore visibility in just one use – which, let’s be honest, is all most of us are asking for. It basically replicates the process of a HydraFacial (which can cost up to £200 per session), making it a clever way to get results and save money in the long run.
Naturally, I couldn’t wait to start testing it, and after using it once a week for the last two months, the results are finally in.
Shark FacialPro Glow review: price and availability
The Shark FacialPro Glow has an RRP of £300/$400 and comes in three colour options. You can buy it from Shark Beauty’s online store, as well as retailers like Very, John Lewis and Boots.
There are also a few bundle options, including the Replenishment Set (£320/$450), which includes twice the amount of formulas. There's also a CryoGlow + FacialPro Glow bundle for £500/$750, and if you're only after the sculpting tool, you can buy the DePuffi on its own for £179.99 – which is yet to arrive in the US.
Shark FacialPro Glow review: design and features
Design wise, the FacialPro Glow is a handheld device that gives you a full skincare treatment at home in about ten minutes. It uses a simple click-on system for its two main attachments – the exfoliating pore-suction head and the DePuffi hot-cold sculpting head – both of which match the main unit with a clean, streamlined look.

The kit includes two skincare formulas made in Korean labs, including an AHA/BHA exfoliating gel that you apply before extraction, and a hydrating serum that's used directly in the device to help replenish moisture afterward.

The device is cordless and comes with multiple interchangeable tips so you can tailor treatments to different skin types or areas of the face. It charges via USB-C and packs neatly into a compact storage case that keeps everything organised.
LED indicators on the handle keep things simple, showing the selected mode and temperature settings without any confusion. Shark has also labelled each part of the device clearly – something other SharkNinja products also have – and with the help of the tutorial videos and the quick start guide, getting started feels surprisingly manageable.
Shark FacialPro Glow review: how to use it
As there's so many parts to work with, unboxing FacialPro Glow can feel a little overwhelming at first. However, once you get going, it's actually a lot more simple than you'd think.
Here’s how it works in practice:
Warm things up: Before cleansing, I used the DePuffi attachment on the hot setting to warm the skin. This helps loosen pores and makes exfoliation more effective, whilst also easing the skin into the treatment.
Cleanse: Next, I applied a thin layer of the Derm Detox serum – an exfoliating AHA/BHA blend that dissolves oil and dirt on the surface of the skin. This needs to sit on the skin for around three minutes to get it to work.
Extract: During those three minutes, I prepped the device by attaching the extraction head, filling the water compartment and choosing my tip – I ended up using most of them for different areas of my face. Once powered on, you glide it across the skin from the centre outward, hearing that tiny kissing sound each time it makes suction contact. The gunk tank collects all the oil and debris, and seeing that cloudy water afterwards is disgustingly satisfying.
Hydrate: After exfoliating, you switch to the Hydro-Infuse solution to replenish hydration, which is essential for avoiding dryness. You simply fill the tank with the hydrating formula and repeat the same process, but don’t turn the device off while swapping as it restarts the whole session.
Depuff: Finally, I used the DePuffi attachment on the cold setting to close my pores back up and give my face a lifted, refreshed finish. This also feels incredible after exfoliating and brings the whole routine together with a glow.
Shark FacialPro Glow review: performance
One of the most frustrating things about skincare is waiting ages to see results, so if you're impatient like me, you’re going to love the FacialPro Glow. It’s one of the very few at-home devices where I saw almost instant results, which definitely softens the blow of the higher price tag.
I do have reactive skin, so I went bright red after my first session. However, over the weeks, that reaction reduced massively, and my skin handled the treatment better each time. I actually stuck to the recommended once-a-week use which felt just right and more suitable for my skin. I’ve seen some people use it several times a week, but if you’re sensitive or acne-prone, once is more than enough, otherwise you risk over-treating your skin.
There’s been some debate among dermatologists about devices like this, but if you use it in moderation and don’t go overboard (which is probably what they’re worried about), there’s really no issue.

As for long-term results – I definitely saw them. After two to three uses, my skin looked noticeably softer, smoother and much glowier, and despite having sensitive skin, I got on really well with the formulas. They do incur repeat costs, but each set lasted me around two months, which I didn't think was bad at all. The Replenishment Set is £40 or $50, and I’d easily spend that on a single serum, so every eight weeks feels pretty fair.
Battery life has also been surprisingly great, and I only charged it twice in two months. This isn't the kind of device you want dying halfway through a session, so that’s a very welcome detail.
If I’m being really picky, I wish there was a dedicated storage slot for each of the four tips instead of just two in the case. That way, I wouldn’t have to store the ones I wasn’t using somewhere else. However, you do end up using just two tips more often than the others, so I can see why there are only two slots.

Shark FacialPro Glow review: alternatives to consider
There really isn’t anything quite like the Shark FacialPro Glow on the market, which is part of why it’s so impressive. However, if the DePuffi attachment is the bit you’re most interested in, I’d also recommend the Therabody TheraFace Depuffing Wand.
It has the same hot-cold contrast therapy but in a more streamlined tool that’s perfect for under-eyes and lymphatic drainage.
