When DJI releases a brand new product, we don’t expect to see it discounted for a good while. But Amazon has treated us to an early Prime Day deal, giving the brand’s latest Osmo 360 action camera, which was released in July, a big discount.

The retailer has knocked 14% off its original price, taking it down from $549.99 to $472.99 – that’s for the standard combo. The adventure combo – which comes equipped with three additional batteries in their charging case, an invisible 1.2m extendable selfie stick, protective camera pouch and more – has also been given the special treatment, and has been reduced from $699.99 to $640.

Spec-wise, the Osmo 360 can support 8K 360˚ video at up to 50fps and 120MP images, so it’s perfect for content creators seeking dynamic, all-angle footage that’s crisp and immersive. There’s also 128GB of built-in storage and a 100 minute recording life when shooting at 8K/30fps.

Our reviewers biggest gripe was the price – it’s really not the most budget-friendly action camera. But, at this shiny new price it’s appeal is much harder to ignore. Will it go down further during Prime Day (7-8th October)? It’s hard to tell and there’s even a risk it could go back up, so we’d grab it while the offers there.
