Apple know-it-all predicts Retina Display for iPad 3
When Apple blogger John Gruber opens up about the goings on at the company, he's usually not too far from the truth. On Monday he predicted that the iPad 3 will have a Retina Display, just like the iPhone 4, which is double the resolution of the current model. We hope he's right.

LulzSec takes down The Sun, posts fake Murdoch death story
The hacking group LulzSec is back and it's going after Rupert Murdoch big time. On Monday evening the group hacked The Sun's website, redirecting the homepage to a mock story claiming that Rupert Murdoch had died. Later the group revealed Rebekah Brooks' personal details and promised that Murdoch was next.

Star Wars Blu-ray extras to be previewed in iOS app
The launch of the Star Wars movies on Blu-ray is undoubtedly the biggest BD release of this or any other year, and the arrival of George Lucas' beloved saga will feature 40 hours of bonus footage. iOS device owners will be able to get a look at some of that content with the Star Wars Blu-ray: Early Access app which'll be released this week.

RIM denies weilding Wi-Fi PlayBook axe
Rumours began spreading on Monday evening that RIM was planning to discontinue the Wi-Fi iteration of the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet following disappointing sales. Reports suggested that the company was to focus on the 3G and 4G versions, but RIM has since issued a statement claiming that the Wi-Fi PlayBook will not just live on, but reach more territories this year.

OS X Lion coming on Wednesday?
9to5Mac is reporting that the long-awaited arrival of Apple Mac OS X Lion will happen on Wednesday, following an overnight upgrade at Apple retail store locations. The new MacBook Air laptops are also thought to be on the way alongside Lion.
