If you're looking at that headline scratching your head, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the new name for the Galaxy Nexus Prime we brought you news of before, the next flagship handset from the Samsung/Google partnership. That's right, it's the very same Ice Cream Sandwich-toting smartie that's set to be the year's biggest launch, after the iPhone 4S. And we've got the specs.
A full spec list has leaked, and if true, this promises to be a huge handset in more ways than one. The screen's a mammoth 4.65 inches, packing Super AMOLED tech with a resolution of 1,280x720 pixels. Video capture is 1080p, with stills coming in at 5-megapixels, and a 1.3-megapixel front facer.
Despite its gargantuan size (not far off the Samsung Galaxy Note tablet), it's just 9mm thing. There's 32GB storage, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, and it should have NFC for wireless payments.
It's due to be announced on Tuesday, at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2011 event. The conference is subtitled "Google Episode" so expect the flagship Android handset to have top billing. We'll bring you all the official news as it happens.
