Users signing up to the Qriocity service, which launches in the UK and Ireland today ahead of a global rollout in 2011, will be able to access music from a variety of major and independent record labels that includes the works of the Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group and EMI Music.
Powered by Sony, the new Qriocity addition will run on the company’s array of internet connected TVs, home theatre systems, Blu-ray players, Vaio laptop range as well as the PS3 from launch with Sony portable devices and Android mobile handsets and tablets to add the service in the near future. Qriocity adopters will also be able to sync the service with their iTunes accounts for further music access.
