New iPhone 5 rumours have suggested an Apple iPhone 5 release date of early October
iPhone 5 release date hinted at as October by network head
As the iPhone 5 rumours mill continues to churn out potential iPhone 5 release dates, the Vice President of American smartphone retailer and network AT&T has reportedly told staff to prepare of an early October arrival.
Citing “one of our high-level AT&T sources,” tech blog Boy Genius Report has suggested that an AT&T Vice President has informed a number of key employees that the iPhone 5 will launch during the opening couple of weeks of October.
“Expect things to get really, really busy in the next 35-50 days, so prepare your teams accordingly,” the network head reportedly said of the iPhone 5 release date.
These latest claims would fit with reports earlier this week that suggested that iPhone 5 pre-orders were to kick off on September 30th following a late September Apple event and an early October release. Other iPhone 5 rumours of note have suggested the handset will land with a dual-core processor, improved camera and slimmed form factor.
