iPhone 4 heading to T-Mobile

Network joins other big three carriers with Apple deal

T-Mobile confirms it'll sell new iPhone but doesn't give indication on price.

T-Mobile UK has confirmed that it’s going to sell the spanking new iPhone 4, after Carphone Warehouse published the network’s logo on its pre-registration page for Apple’s all-new blower.

In a statement, T-Mobile’s press office said, “T-Mobile UK will launch iPhone 4, the thinnest smartphone in the world with the highest resolution display ever built into a phone. Further information on launch timings, pricing and tariff plans will be revealed in due course.”

Like its soon-to-be partner Orange, it has not set up a registration page, instead telling users to keep an eye on Apple’s site for more details as they emerge.

iPhone 4 pre-orders are due to start on 15 June, with the phone hitting shelves on 24 June. That leaves the key networks very little time to hammer out pricing and work out offers to tempt new punters into being swayed onto their service.
