Pop legend David Bowie will launch an iPhone application that will let fans create their own remixes from his forthcoming "Golden Years" EP.
The Life on Mars singer will launch a collection of newly re-mixed versions of the 1975 track, on June 6th, with new interpretations from Anthony Valadez, Eric J. Lawrence, Chris Douridas and Jeremy Sole.
But the accompanying iPhone app is the real news for us tech fans. It will include the original multi-tracks, which will allow Bowie fans to create their own versions of the songs, export them as an mp3 file and share with friends.
With the new GarageBand for iPad among the best apps ever to hit the App News, are we entering a new era of music creation using smartphone apps?
