If this is the kind of thing that Sony’s going to be knocking together by itself, we don’t miss the slovenly touch of Ericsson one bit. The beautiful Sony Xperia S is striking on the outside, certainly, but it’s what’s on the inside that counts: a meaty 1.5GHz dual-core processor sits underneath the 4.3-inch display, powering a soon to be updated version of Android 2.3 (4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is coming in the summer).
Megapixel’s don’t necessarily mean prizes, but the Xperia S’s rear-facing camera has 12 of the things, along with the ability to record video in proper 1080p HD. Tasty.
