The whole ethos behind this Intel-coordinated Ultrabook drive (we’ll keep quiet about the blatant MacBook Air mimicry) is to fit as much as possible into very little and Samsung seems to have gotten the message.
The Series 5 Ultra comes loaded with the obligatory Intel i5 processor with integrated Intel graphics, up to 6GB of RAM and a huge 500GB hard drive paired with a 16GB lightning-fast solid state drive.
There’s also, shock horror, an optical drive squeezed into the 17.6mm chassis. Sammy also hopes to gain a leg-up on the scores of Ultrabook contenders with some of its trademark display quality with 300nit HD LED SuperBright screen, equipped with anti-glare tech.
