Next up in our countdown of the Hottest 100 gadgets on the planet is the Huawei Ascend P1 S
It might not be a household name yet, but this could be Huawei’s year, especially if this handset is anything to go by. It comes packing Ice Cream Sandwich, a ridiculously bright 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen, and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor powering thing.
What’s even more impressive is it manages to cram it all in a body that’s just 7.69mm thick. That’s crazy skinny.
There’s an 8-megapixel camera on the back, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facer. And it keeps it old school with changeable back covers, a la Nokia circa 1998. But by shaking off its own-brand image, Huawei is really the new HTC, mark our words.
