When I stumbled across the Soocas NEOS II at CES 2025, I was instantly intrigued. It stood out right away, and not just because it’s chunkier than a lot of other best electric toothbrushes – especially with sleek newcomers like SURI and Quip on the scene. However, when I learnt that its bulk is due to an integrated water tank that lets you brush and floss at the same time, I knew right away I had to try it.

Fast forward a few months, and the NEOS II has earned a solid spot on my bathroom sink. I've been using it regularly, and I can confidently say it's like nothing I’ve tried before. So yes, I’ve been dying to share my experience with you.

Soocas NEOS II review: price and availability

The NEOS II comes in at $199.99 in the US or £210 here in the UK. Originally, it was only available through the Soocas US store, but it's now landed on Amazon, so no more shipping hassles for us Brits.

You can grab it in white or dark violet, and it comes in a couple of bundles depending on what you need. The standard set (the one I tested) includes the NEOS II itself, two brush heads, a charging cable and a water tank cleaner. If you want the full works, the ultimate set adds two extra heads and a handy travel case.

Soocas NEOS II review: design and features

At its core, the NEOS II is a 2-in-1 electric toothbrush and water flosser designed to simplify your routine. It features two main cleaning modes – Deep Clean is a full two-minute brushing session followed by a minute of brushing with flossing, and Quick Floss gets the job done in under a minute.

You’ve also got three intensity levels – gentle, standard and strong – controlled by individual buttons on the front. One selects Deep Clean mode, one for Quick Floss, and another lets you adjust the pressure to your liking.

Now, the flosser part is pretty smart. It uses advanced diaphragm tech to push out water at up to 124.3 PSI through a super fine 0.6mm jet. This means it can get into those tricky spots between your teeth and along your gumline.

The built-in 50ml water tank is tucked into the body of the brush, and whilst it’s not huge, it’s enough for a quick flossing session and is super easy to refill.

With a 2600mAh lithium-ion battery, I got close to 30 days of use from a single charge. The charger also attaches magnetically to the back, so the NEOS II can stand upright whilst charging.

That said, it doesn’t come with a plug adapter, so you’ll need to use one of your own, but that’s pretty standard these days.

Soocas NEOS II review: performance

If you’ve never used a 2-in-1 toothbrush and flosser before, you're genuinely in for a new kind of experience. Whilst there are a few no-name versions floating around on Amazon, Soocas is the first proper brand I’ve seen that’s really put time and R&D into doing it right, and it shows.

Brushing and flossing at the same time takes a little getting used to, and you can feel the jet of water working between your teeth whilst the bristles are doing their thing. It's a strange sensation at first, but kind of satisfying once you're used to it.

For me, the water pressure was spot on. My partner found it a bit too gentle, so your thoughts may vary to mine, but Soocas clearly aimed for a safe middle ground.

It's worth nothing that the water tank does run out after about a minute, so you may have to refill mid-session if you want to use it for longer. That said, making the tank any bigger would’ve made the toothbrush uncomfortable to hold, so I get why Soocas capped it there.

When it comes to results, I’ve definitely noticed a difference. My teeth feel cleaner, and my dentist even mentioned at my last appointment that my oral hygiene was looking great.

If you’re currently using both a toothbrush and a separate flosser, the NEOS II is a great way to streamline your routine and save counter space. However, even if you’re just looking to level up your oral care game, it’s also worth checking out.

Soocas NEOS II review: verdict

The Soocas NEOS II is a genuinely impressive 2-in-1 toothbrush and water flosser that delivers on both innovation and practicality. With solid battery life, clever design and the convenience of brushing and flossing simultaneously, it stands out in a crowded market. Whilst the small water tank and bulkiness are minor drawbacks, the overall experience is polished and effective. If you're ready to level up your oral hygiene, or just want to free up some counter space, it’s absolutely worth a look.

Soocas NEOS II review: alternatives to consider

Right now, there isn’t much else out there quite like the NEOS II, but there are still some great alternatives. For example, the Philips Sonicare 7100 offers four brushing modes and three intensity levels, so you can mix and match to your heart’s content.

If you want to go all-out, the Oral-B iO9 is another option. It uses magnetic motor tech to both rotate and vibrate, and the cleaning results are top notch. That said, it's over double the price of the NEOS II, coming in at a steep £500.
