Navigon 2100

For a £100 you can bin the map and save the marriage...

The plastic body attracts fingerprints like Pete Doherty court summons, but the Navigon 2100 is packed with features for stress-free navigation. Lane Assist highlights the lane you need to be in for motorway exits (a godsend for mid-lane hoggers). Signpost Display shows true-to-life signs; you also get a countdown to each exit and safety camera info.

The 2100 is easy to use, although the keys are too small for our large fingers. Route calculation times are some of the best of test, consistently around 15 seconds, re-routing initially takes seconds, although at one point berating us to U-turn.

These gripes aside, the innovative driving feature make the Navigon 2100 stand out from other mappers on the market.
