Nokia has announced a launch date for its first tablet, the Lumia 2520. You'll be able to buy it from December 4th, though it'll be exclusive to John Lewis at launch.
Nokia's tablet will set you back £399.99 when it hits the shelves on Wednesday.
"We're excited to announce the launch of the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet exclusive to John Lewis," John Lewis' junior buyer for tablets and telecoms Harry Boughton said in a statement. "We have seen a continuing demand for tablets, selling one every 15 seconds, and we think the addition of this tablet to our range will appeal to customers looking to do more than surf the web."
Tablets will be big sellers this Christmas. Currys predicts us Brits will buy a million of them this festive season.
The Lumia 2520 is Nokia's first tablet PC. It packs a 10.1-inch screen, 4G connectivity, and up to 11 hours battery life.
Nokia's handsets are renowned for their imaging skills, so we're intrigued to find out how the 2520's 6.7-megapixel snapper fares. The tablet also comes replete with Nokia's own photo apps like Nokia Storyteller. On the front is a 2-megapixel camera for video calls.
NFC is on board, so you can just tap the tablet against another NFC-enabled device to pair them. It also has Nokia's Here Maps for finding your way around.
