Talk of FaceTime support backed up by slot for front-facing camera.
New iPod touch: parts unearthed
Yesterday’s new iPod touch rumours have seemingly started a rush for new information on the top-end PMP. Now the first shots of the hardware are starting to emerge, showing the outer casing and LCD panel of the killer device.
The images clearly show a device that passes a close resemblance to the iPhone 4, but also with a dedicated slot up top for a front-facing camera. That suggests talk of FaceTime coming to the iPod touch is spot on.

There’s no look at the back of the device, but word is there’ll be a 5 megapixel shooter shoved there, making the new iPod touch essentially an iPhone 4 minus the calling capability.
