Apple could be en route to transform its pet project into a mainstream venture as a job posting on the company’s website hints towards to arrival of Apple-branded television sets.
Having revamped its Apple’s TV offering, an internet-connected downloadable content hub, back in September after years of pushing its original Apple TV box, the Cupertino-based company is now hunting for a new employee who will reportedly be tasked with furthering its TV offerings.
Advertised on the Apple website the new job posting is hunting for someone to work on "Apple's next-generation Macintosh platforms spanning from notebook computers, desktop computers, servers, standalone displays, and TV."
With ‘TV’ being the key term of interest for the new role, the application, which added the role will revolve around "new power management designs and technologies", has opened much speculation around possible upcoming Apple Television sets. Whilst these rumours are currently anything but confirmed, Apple’s mouth-watering design skills and repeatedly impressive display technologies present a fanciful prospect for a future TV venture.
