Christmas is the most magical time of the year, especially when your gifts come in the form of Huawei gadgets and goodies of all kinds. It’s also a time when people come together, lockdowns allowing.
To celebrate, Huawei has launched Light Up My Christmas Tree. In this game, you can win prizes and, yes, literally light up your tree with help from your friends. It’s a quick and easy challenge that could win you some great Huawei prizes. You can win, and I quote: A special Community Medal, a Christmas card, and various coupons, even grand prizes!’
Here’s what you need to do…
Download or upgrade the My Huawei app NOW: here’s how!
If your phone’s AppGallery is set to automatically update apps over Wi-Fi, the My HUAWEI app should have already downloaded and replaced the old Support app.
If you are more of a manual updates kind of guy, go into the AppGallery, search for My HUAWEI and tap on the Update button.
Alternatively, follow this link on your phone and you’ll be taken straight to the download page.
Light up the Christmas Tree!
Simply open the My HUAWEI app and click the activity banner on the homepage or Community page to gain entrance to the Light Up My Christmas Tree promotion.
This is also possible via the web browser on your PC or smartphone at MyHuawei.com.
Gameplay is as simple as it is fun.
1. Click “Light Up” to turn on one light on your Christmas tree.
2. Click “Invite a friend to light up” to share the boost link with your friends. Your pals can then click the “Light up for your friend” icon to turn on more tree lights. The more friends you get involved, the more lit your tree will be. Please note that each participant can light up only one light for themselves, and one light for a friend.
3. When you’ve reached a set number of lights, you start to win prizes. First, a Community medal will be added to your Community user center for you to claim. Turn on more lights and you can also win a Christmas card, coupons and ultimately, grand prizes. At this point, Huawei’s Community admin team will get in touch with a prize redemption code.
4. You can also click on any gift boxes you see around the Christmas tree, to access more interesting content and offers, and there’s even more interesting content at the bottom of the page.
