Day 2 of Amazon Prime Week (or whatever it's called) has brought along a new Garmin watch deal, and it's on one of the brand's most underrated models. The Vivoactive 6 has a bright AMOLED screen and well over a week of battery life, yet costs less than a pair of Apple AirPods Pro (2nd generation).

As much as I love the Fenix and Forerunner series, it's hard to deny the appeal of the fitness-first Vivoactive, especially at this price point. You get offline music storage, all the Garmin features under the sun, and lightweight hardware you can wear all day.

Garmin Vivoactive 6 (Pebble Grey): was £225.62 now £169 at Amazon

At its current £169 Prime Day price, the Vivoactive 6 offers a surprisingly complete Garmin experience, combining long battery life, advanced wellness tools and serious fitness tracking in a package that costs less than many premium running shoes.

The Garmin Vivoactive 6 is designed for people who want a smartwatch that balances health tracking, fitness features and everyday convenience without stepping up to one of Garmin's more expensive Forerunner or Fenix models.

It features a bright 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen housed in a lightweight 42mm case, offering vibrant colours and excellent visibility indoors and outdoors. The watch is rated to 5 ATM for water resistance, making it suitable for swimming, showers and everyday wear.

The Vivoactive 6 can last up to 11 days in smartwatch mode or up to 21 hours with GPS tracking enabled, meaning most users won't need to charge it every night.

Health and wellness tracking is comprehensive, with Garmin's Body Battery energy monitoring, Sleep Coach, sleep score, HRV status, stress tracking, Pulse Ox blood oxygen monitoring and women's health features all included.

The Garmin watch also provides Garmin's Morning Report, giving you a snapshot of your sleep, recovery and daily outlook as soon as you wake up.

For fitness enthusiasts, the Vivoactive 6 packs more than 80 sports modes, Garmin Coach training plans, PacePro pacing guidance, wrist-based running power and downloadable workouts.

Music storage is built in, allowing offline playlists from services such as Spotify, Amazon Music and YouTube Music, while Garmin Pay and smartphone notifications help it function as an everyday smartwatch as well.
