A sequel to the best selling dance game Zumba Fitness has been announced, with a US release date for Nintendo's Wii console penned for pre-Christmas arrival.
A UK release is yet to be confirmed, though judging on the popularilty of the dance game, a similar release date on this side of the Atlantic looks likely. For those not aware of the game's concept, it essentially revolves around giving a fun workout, allowing players to burn calories whilst strutting their stuff to rocking Latin beats.
With over 30 'hot' new music tracks, the sequel brings an unprecedented 20 dance styles to your living room, featuring 'classic' routines such as Reggaeton and Salsa as seen in the current game, and new styles to shake your booty to, such as bellydancing, Latin pop, Pasodoble and 'Axe'.
Tutorials and classes from the games 'instructors' help players nail those difficult dance moves, and the game now offers customisable features such a five locations to choose from and playlist creation. Friends can also get involved in Zumba Party mode that supports up to four players.
The current Zumba Fitness game is currently storming the UK gaming charts, and returned to pole position this week after knocking Portal 2 into second place.
