This latest yuletide tech rumour comes from the Korea Times newspaper which is reporting that Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 will, in fact, boast a 6.3-inch OLED display.

Considering the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 divided opinion with a 5.5-inch screen, the prospect of tooling up with a 6.3-inch smartphone seems a little ridiculous. Especially seeing as a 7-inch display is already a bona fide tablet form factor thanks to the likes of the Amazon Kindle Fire HD and the Google Nexus 7.

The oversized screen will apparently feature a 1080p resolution, although there's no word on release date, price or even any other internal specifications.
