Have to disagree, the most important element with an MP3 player is sound quality, and on this front the Sony bitch-slaps the ipod into the ground.
The OLED screen also dumps on that of the ipod from a great height, brighter, clearer, sharper.
Yes, I have bought mine this morning and am doing a side by side comparison, with my iphone.
On the sonic front, the Apple is a dodgy C at best.

Looks nice, but smaller screen, lack of games and other apps (Google maps etc) let it down - a B+ to the iPods A-
