SanDisk Sansa Fuze (4GB) review

Is it all praise for the Sansa Mondeo?

Would anointing the Sansa Fuze as MP3 players Ford Mondeo damn the little fellow with faint praise? If so, we apologise, but without ever leading the pack for looks or performance, the Fuze delivers truly solid all-round ability. Expect to see it eating up the middle lane of the MP3 freeway for many sales seminars to come.

Dinkier than previous Sansas, this rubber-backed unit feels pleasing to hold and its user interface is efficient, without ever complicating this issue. Tunes slip from the buds with good pace, while images contain sufficient detail to (almost) overcome the screen's teeny 1.9in size.

That said, on a unit of this size, we can't imagine ever wanting to scan more than the occasional music video. All praise the Sansa Mondeo.
