This is another quiet runner, tailor-made for lounge life. As long, that is, as your lounge lacks a bit of visual flair.
The LED panel on the front shows at a glance what you're watching, while shortcut buttons let you access the main features without the remote or wireless keyboard. Probably for the best, as the keyboard, despite its shortcut buttons, isn't something you want on display.
The keyboard receiver is neatly tucked away. About 180 hours of storage is possible, and you can record two analogue or digital channels at once. Gaming performance is more for Tetris than Unreal Tournament and connections are DVI for HD and S-Video or Scart.
You're getting a lot for your money, but the lack of Wi-Fi and the dull looks rob it of the top spot.
