We’re in the age of wireless music, and there is a HUGE choice of speakers out there. But if you want a proper music speaker, tailored to suit your home, you should look no further than the Denon Home range, which comes from an established, multi-award-winning brand behind 110 years’-worth of quality audio gear. This is truly premium multi-room, from a real hi-fi brand.

Hi-Res Audio built from 110 years of Hi-Fi know-how

Most wireless, multi-room speakers in this price bracket either don’t support hi-res audio, or don’t know how to deliver it in all its glory. Denon Home, however, supports CD-quality sounds from both Tidal H-Fi and the all-new, super-affordable Amazon Music HD streaming services.

It then serves up those pristine sounds through a range of tastefully minimalist speakers – Denon Home 150, Denon Home 250 and Denon Home 350 – that have been constructed and tuned using all of Denon’s 110 years of hi-fi know-how. It’s like funnelling the expertise of an audio professor through the visual stylings of a Scandinavian homewares boutique. Proper, hi-fi-quality components, drivers and amplification is used throughout.

Via the HEOS app, you can stream a huge range of music vendors – Spotify, Amazon Music HD, TIDAL, TuneIn, Deezer and more. You can also use Bluetooth or Apple AirPlay 2 to stream whatever you like, with zero fuss. The jewels in the crown here are Tidal Hi-Fi and Amazon Music HD - their streams just sound better. However, Denon’s hi-fi skills also means more compressed streams from the likes of Spotify, web radio stations, or the music on your phone, sounds as full and rich as science and art allow.

None of that would be much use if you had to wade through endless sub-menus or wrestle with questionable connections to get to your music, but Denon’s HEOS app is so easy to use. It lets you get straight to the music you love, and play it back the way you want, with an interface that’s as smooth and streamlined as the speakers themselves. In addition, handy touch controls on the speakers burn into life when you approach, giving easy access to key functions.

Multi-Room Streaming with voice control compatibility

As you’d expect from a speaker in 2020, voice control is also included. All three Denon Home speakers have microphones built in, with native voice assistant support due to be added via a firmware upgrade later in 2020. For the time being, you can control your device via Siri, Alexa or Google Assistant compatible devices.

Long-standing fans of Denon and Marantz’s HEOS streaming speakers and receivers will be glad to know that Denon Home speakers can also be seamlessly integrated into a HEOS system. This means your Denon Home speakers can be easily paired with an existing Denon or Marantz AVR or hi-fi system with HEOS built-in, for wireless multi-room streaming across multiple devices.

Full stereo pairing with a small footprint

Two Denon Home speakers can also be paired together using the HEOS app for full stereo sound. This means each Denon Home will act as a left and right speaker to provide a true hi-fi quality system, just without the system. Stereo pairing will allow you to listen to your hi-res audio collection with the accuracy and attention to detail your music deserves.

Premium pre-selection

With the help of handy Quick Select buttons you can easily store your favourite Internet radio stations to enjoy them whenever you want, without the hassle of searching through a mobile device.

Thanks to a proximity sensor, these and the other touch controls only appear on the clean gloss top panel when your hand hovers near, keeping the aesthetic clean and meaning that using each Denon Home speaker is taken beyond the boring everyday.
