Apple iPhone 5 UK release date to be announced in late 2012?

Apple to unveil iPhone 5 early in response to quad-core Android devices?

With well over a year's worth of rumour and speculation to its name the Apple iPhone 5 UK release date is once again under the microscope

When the collective tech world expected Apple to official release the long rumoured Apple iPhone 5 in October, the eventual arrival of the iPhone 4S brought welcome updates to some, and nothing but disappointment to others.

With the collective onslaught of high-end Android handsets now surpassing the iPhone in terms of specs, if perhaps not popularity, attention now once again turns to the long mooted iPhone 5 release date with the next-gen blower expected to come from Cupertino sooner rather than later.

Touted as the last project former Apple CEO Steve Jobs worked closely on the iPhone 5 release could occur as early as Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in the summer.

With HTC and Samsung both tipped to release the first breed of quad-core processor touting smartphones at Mobile World Congress in February a quick response from Apple would be required to keep in line with the crowds meaning holding off to repeat an October arrival is now an unlikely option.
