26 percent more range than the standard 24 kWh battery

The 2016 Nissan LEAF is the latest generation of the world's best-selling electric car, with the new model boasting an impressive 30 kWh battery.

Providing 26 percent more range than thestandard 24 kWh battery, motorists will get up to 250 kilometres out of it after a single charge.

The new battery is available in the Acenta and range-topping Tekna models, which you can find out more about here. The battery is also covered by a superb eightyear/100,000 mile warranty, too.

What's more, the LEAF also boasts a refreshed NissanConnect EV infotainment system centered around a 7-inch touchscreen sat-nav and DAB radio. You're also able to control your vehiclethrough an app for your iOS or Android phone. You can warm or cool the car by switching on and adjusting the climate control system, view the remaining charge, begin charging, see howmuch range you have, as well as check when the charge will complete.

The app will even tell you how near you are to public car charge points, too.
