As the May 30th Samsung Galaxy S3 UK release date nears, new reports have claimed the handset has racked up 9 million pre-orders
Whilst Samsung has yet to reveal official advanced sales figures for the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy S3, the Korea Economic Daily has reported that the Galaxy S2 follow-on has already surpassed 9 million pre-orders.
Citing an official Samsung spokesperson the reports have claimed that with more than 100 global carries offering advanced orders of the Android 4.0 has shifted 9 million units ahead of its planned in-store UK release on May 30th.
Packing an expansive 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display with an eye-popping 1280 x 720p resolution, the Galaxy S3 features a fanciful feast of high-end innards with the handset to be made available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage forms.
With 1GB of RAM, the S3’s market stomping specs sheet is further bolstered by an 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera with 1080p video recording capabilities and a second, 1.9-megapixel forward-facing snapper.
