A Chinese gadget blog has assembled a host of purported iPad 3 components to give us the first complete impression of what the device is likely to look like when it is unveiled on Wednesday.
The M.I.C blog says it has obtained the rear casing, dock connector cable, and the front glass panel from the yet-to-be announced tablet and has done a bit of IKEA-like assembly work in an extensive video.
The video slips the completed shell into a host of iPad 3 cases to prove its point.
After placing the completed puzzle next to the existing iPad 2 tablet, it seems that the iPad 3 will indeed be slightly thicker, with more tapered edges.
The casing also reveals a larger camera lens and puts an end to all that nonsense about the new iPad 3 ditching the home button, which arose from Apple's official invite.
Is this what the iPad 3 looks like? Check out the video below and let us know what you think.
