T3 Awards 2026: all Smart Home winners announced
The full list of T3’s Smart Home award winners for 2026
The T3 Awards are back for 2026, and this year, the world of smart home got even smarter. Almost every item around your home has been given the smart treatment, allowing users to unlock hands-free controls, easier customisation and full routines to make their daily lives more connected.
Our team of smart home experts have taken a look back at the past year and marveled at the latest and greatest innovations. From AI-powered detection to clearer-sounding speaker audio, smart home devices are better than ever, so it was hard to narrow down our favourites.
However, after months of testing, we finally have our winners! Below is the full list of Smart Home winners, highly commended and nominees, from speakers to lighting and beyond.
Best Smart Speaker / Hub
Philips Hue Bridge Pro
This year, we’ve expanded our smart speaker award to include smart home hubs. Why? Since the first models hit the market, smart speakers and displays have been the go-to way for people to group all their devices together in one place. That said, many brands have made their own hubs to act as the ‘brain’ of their home, and the Philips Hue Bridge Pro is the brainiest device we tested in 2026.
We’re big fans of Philips Hue and its extensive collection of smart bulbs, but the Philips Hue Bridge Pro is where the brand really shines. It offers more device support than before, Matter integration and an easy set-up process. Compatible with up to 150 lights, the Philips Hue Bridge Pro also unlocks MotionAware and SpatialAware features to make your smart home brighter and smarter than before.

Best Smart Security Device
Blink Outdoor 4
The award for Best Smart Security Device has always been tricky to choose, as it covers security cameras, smart locks and more. However, after extensive testing, the Blink Outdoor 4 came out on top, with Blink’s latest security camera proving that protecting your home doesn’t need to come with extortionate prices.
Blink is arguably one of the most affordable smart home brands on the market, but while it may be low in price, it’s not low on quality. The Blink Outdoor 4 is the perfect example of this, as the outdoor camera offers a long-lasting battery life, an easy set-up process and a simple yet stylish design.

Smart lighting is one of our favourite things to test at T3, so we had plenty of products to choose from for this year’s Best Smart Light winner. The model that came out on top for 2026 is the Govee Lantern Floor Lamp, a fun, stylish smart lamp that blends in beautifully with your decor.
Put together in minutes, the Govee Lantern Floor Lamp beautifully displays an array of colours, all softly diffused to create a pretty and immersive atmosphere. Physical controls are located on the top of the lamp, but the Govee app unlocks even more, including colour scenes, music sync modes, automations and schedules.

Best Smart Energy Product
Tapo P304M strip smart plug
Best Smart Energy Product is another award that covers many bases, including smart plugs, thermostats and switches. This year, the Tapo P304M strip smart plug has taken the win, thanks to its versatility and energy-efficiency. In our opinion, smart plugs are seriously underrated, so having a smart plug win in this year’s T3 Awards is very exciting.
The Tapo P304M strip smart plug is a great solution to home owners who want to make their non-smart appliances smarter without having to replace them. With four outlets available and compatibility with multiple ecosystems, the Tapo P304M strip smart plug is easy to set up and has plenty of custom settings, timers and schedules to play with.
