Dubbed its most powerful multi-styler yet, the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler is specifically designed for curly hair, although UK customers will have to wait to get their hands on it.

The latest addition to the FlexStyle range is the new Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler. As the name suggests, the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler is all about curly hair, although it can work across all hair types and textures.
But if you have curly hair or you want to create your own curls, the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler is the best styler to do it with. Using Ion Smooth technology, the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler dries and styles hair while minimising frizz and making curls look bouncier, shinier and more defined.
The Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler acts in a similar way to the Dyson Airwrap a.k.a the hair tool that put everyone on to this type of styling. It uses CoandaBoost technology (like the Airwrap) which uses a concentrated airflow to automatically wrap the hair around the tool to create curls and waves.
Measuring 11.24 inches in height and 1.49 inches in length and width, the main body of the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler is surprisingly compact and weighs just 1.5 pounds. It has power, speed and temperature buttons on the handle, and you can tilt the top of it to turn the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler into a hair dryer.
To set your hair, the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler has an Airset button which expels cold air to keep your style in place. It also comes with multiple accessories, including two Auto-Wrap Coanda curlers, a FrizzFighter High Shine Polisher, a Styling Concentrator and Oval Brush.
Hair stylers like the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler come into close contact with hair and the scalp. To protect hair, this styler has a scalp shield mode which instantly adjusts temperatures when it gets too close to your head, so your hair isn’t damaged from extreme heat.
I haven’t had the best luck with hair stylers, as no matter what product I put in or on my hair, it just doesn’t want to hold any styling! But the Shark FlexStyle IonCurl Hair Styler may have convinced me to give this type of styler another try, and I love that it comes in a pretty lilac colour.
