It takes a lot for a laptop to get a 5-star rating from the T3 team, and to make both our best laptops and best MacBooks lists, but the MacBook Air M4 launched in 2025 managed it – and it's now available for its lowest Amazon price to date as part of the Spring Sale.
You'll now pay $949 for the 15.3-inch model with 256GB of storage, rather than the original list price of $1,199. That's a saving of $250 or 21%, and the offer is available on three of the four colors that you can get the portable computer in.
There's a lot to like about the MacBook Air M4, especially when its price has been reduced by more than a fifth. It's powerful, polished, and packed with all the software you need to get work done. Even a year after launch, the M4 chipset remains super-speedy and capable as well.
I was lucky enough to get the chance to test the MacBook Air M4 for a few months, and can only reiterate everything in our MacBook Air M4 review: this is a stunning laptop that combines power, portability, style, and features in a way that few of its competitors can manage (or even get close to).
It'll cope with a wide variety of computing tasks with ease, it has battery life that will last and last, and it offers all the usual Apple polish that we've come to expect from Apple. Oh, and it's supremely lightweight and portable too.
Sure, the MacBook Air M5 has taken some of the spotlight away from its M4-powered predecessor – but that does mean the older model is available at a cheaper price, and it's still a very capable laptop that I'd wholeheartedly recommend.
The laptop comes with 16GB of RAM on board alongside that 256GB of storage, and there's also a 12MP Center Stage webcam that will attempt to keep you in the frame at all times, as well as Touch ID authorization built right into the keyboard. If you're looking for an Apple laptop upgrade, this could be it.
